Lodging Applications
Proponents are encouraged to liaise with the Department regarding their application before applying, which will enable a Client Manager to be assigned from the outset. A Client Manager can assist you in managing your application, and determine and coordinate the supporting documentation required.
Submitting an application involves two processes:
- Writing a letter (between two and four pages) to the Minister requesting MPF status for a project. The letter is to be signed by the Chief Executive Officer/Managing Director or equivalent. The Department can provide a pro forma letter to assist proponents to submit an application.
- An electronic copy of the letter plus the required supporting documentation is to be sent to the nominated Client Manager. This will be used as a basis for assessing the MPF application, and enable the assessment to begin immediately.
